Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without refund.

1. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on ISHOPAY servers:

  • Child exploitation material (illegal under 18 U.S.C. § 2252)
  • Pirated software or media (violating 17 U.S.C. § 501)
  • Phishing, malware, or ransomware
  • Spam (CAN-SPAM Act violations)
  • Hate speech or incitement to violence
  • Drug paraphernalia sales (Controlled Substances Act violations)
  • Unlicensed gambling operations
  • Cryptocurrency mining (without explicit permission)
  • DDoS-for-hire services
  • TOR exit nodes

2. Resource Abuse

You may not:

  • Use >25% CPU/core for >60 seconds
  • Run persistent background processes without approval
  • Store >250,000 inodes per cPanel account
  • Consume >10% of shared server memory continuously
  • Operate proxy servers/VPNs on shared hosting

3. Email Restrictions

Prohibited email practices include:

  • Sending >500 emails/hour from shared hosting
  • Purchasing email lists (must be 100% opt-in)
  • Operating open relays
  • Falsifying headers ("spoofing")

4. Enforcement

ISHOPAY may:

  1. Suspend services immediately for severe violations
  2. Issue warnings for minor first-time offenses
  3. Report illegal activities to law enforcement
  4. Charge a $150 abuse investigation fee for false reports
